On Friday December 5th 2025, the law on sheep and livestock worrying in England and Wales has been updated, most notably by lifting the maximum fine to an unlimited amount. The Dogs (Protection of Livestock) (Amendment) Bill 2024-25 has successfully become law and will officially come into force on March 18, 2026.
